but the difference in scholarships isnt due to Title IX ... but even if it is, it is just one part of the overall affects of Title IX. Did your daughter, sister, niece or female cousin get to play high school sports this year? Did she get new uniforms and the proper equiptment to play her sport?

Oh, and the reduction is scholarships from 15 to 13 is the best thing that ever happened to midmajors ... where do you think Michael Haddix and Paul Williams would be this year? Probably buried at the end of a Big East bench.

Oh, and just how many scholarships do D1 schools give for football? NFL teams have 50 man rosters for 16 games, colleges have 75 scholarships for 12.

I am not arguing that Title IX is without flaws, but overall it has done more good than bad in the last 30 years.
