I don't disagree with the "where there's smoke there's fire reference. Quite often, if a mid-major doesn't sign a kid early, it doesn't get the kid. There are plenty of examples of the benefit of signing kids early in the MAAC's freshman class right now. And Siena fans remember what happened to the recruitment of Donald Copeland and Karon Bradley last Spring.
