5,250 fans...about 400 shy of the crowd at the Pepsi, but impressive nonetheless. Kind of makes me wonder when the last time a MAAC team was able to outdraw a Siena home game. Sounds like it was a very good game. With the amount of fouls, it seems that it was Manhattan who dictated the tempo and junk. Gonzo must be some kind of magician to keep the Jaspers at the top of the standings. Their D and rebounding are very good, but you have to wonder if they can keep winning with the limited amount of offense on that squad (aside from Flores...duh). Holmes and Johnson can have solid nights too. Other than them, there really aren't any consistent offensive threats on the squad. But if they keep shutting people down, I guess that really becomes a non-issue. Oh, and a memo to the Saints (or any other MAAC team for that matter): next time you play Manhattan, be sure to find out who Flores is guarding, and set back picks for him all night long. Flores is good, but if he has to chase someone and is getting bumped a lot, he's GOT to wear down. Make it Luis' own personal 40 minutes of hell. That's the gist!
