You almost get the idea he prefers the other side, as opposed to be just being a neutral force on the mic.

Perhaps this is because he is afraid of getting tagged in a manner similar to his color man. However, I would add that he's better off erring on being a homer than an away-er. It was quite noticeable as Tommy was critical of Lee's responses to plays in the final minute. I happen to agree with Tommy about this, although perhaps he could have taken it off the air.

He does have potential, I will agree.
