I�ll say this. Winning at Siena is much easier than winning at SBU, IMO. The reason is that Siena is an established power in the MAAC, and has the best facility (though Fairfield could make an argument I suppose), and has by far the biggest fan base.

SBU and Siena recruit players at a very similar talent level, but Siena gets to play those guys against the MAAC, while SBU has to go against A-10 competition.

I think it is a little early to judge who the right choice for SBU was.

I have a feeling the writer�s biggest problem with VBK might be his attitude towards the media. Media guys tend to be very biased for guys who are accessible and good interviews, and even more so, biased against coaches who are uncooperative.

I can understand why, since it affects the media guys� ability to do their jobs. However, such bias is unprofessional.
