Thoughts on the few recruits I have seen:

-Justin Marshall could be one of the top recruits in the conference next season. He's a 6'7'' forward who can really shoot it from mid and long range. Athletic, too. He could have at least played in the Atlantic 10 IMHO, and was a kid certain Big East programs could have worked with.

Tariq Atkins is solid, a hard-nosed wing who hits glass and can shoot it a little bit.

The only Siena recruit I have seen is Beers. He's solid, a shooting specialist who won't be a star, but a "piece to the puzzle". Pretty athletic, decent body. Year at Blair should definitely have helped his development, particularly with ball-handling, as he runs the point. I haven't seen Green or Caldwell.

Beyond that, I believe the kid Johnson who had originally committed to Manhattan has de-committed. I could be wrong about that, but I'm pretty sure that's what I had heard.

Watkins for St. Peter's could potentially be pretty good, if he qualifies. I believe that was an issue. He's 6'3'', a slasher, pretty good strength, can score. Originally signed with Long Beach State. Comes from a pretty good New York City high school program in Bishop Loughlin in Brooklyn(where he was coached by Bob Leckie, FYI).

O'Sullivan, who signed with Fairfield, is a 6'5'' kid who can really shoot the ball. Same type of player as Vinny DelFico. Not very athletic, but decent body, and can stroke the three. Haven't seen the other kid they've signed, from the Albany area, but apparently he defends well and does a little bit of everything.

The kid Jared Jordan who signed with Marist is purported to be a "Sean Kennedy-type" who can really pass the ball. I've never seen the kid play, and he comes in pretty unheralded. Remember that Kennedy came into the league very unheralded, and he came out of a high school league that gets decent exposure. He may have only had low D-I offers and Marist.

Tony, why don't you save these ratings and see how everyone turns out? I guarantee one of the Marist kids becomes a major contributor, even though they're not rated very highly. Interesting that Marist has established a bit of a Texas pipeline, huh?

I'd have to believe that Perrin Johnson, the kid Rider signed from California, has to have some flaws in his game for him to slip to Rider. I just don't see a decent California player slipping to Rider without some kind of reason.
