Subject: Why is everyone so hung up on the top 4?

It seems like everyone's goal around here is to make the top 4. Why is that? In my mind, making the top 4 just means that you get to play three games to win the tournament as usual.

The real goal should be to make the TOP spot, which is the ONLY way you get a bye to the semi-finals. It truly is an advantage to get the top seed this year because you only need two wins to get to the NCAAs.
