Just back from the game tonight...some quick thoughts:

- Saints seemed a little more sluggish than in recent games. They didn't get out to disrupt the shooters or passing lanes as quickly and consistently as they could. Also felt they were outworked for some rebounds. Maybe the trip out west just wore them down a bit?
- That said, the Griffs really did execute their offense well. They didn't have very many breakdowns on offense and did a good job of finding good shots. If they continue to play like tonight, they will surely knock off some other top teams before the season is through.
- Prosper was strong again tonight, but - again - a little less exact on some shots and passes. The DEEEEEP 3 pointer near the end of the game was probably not his best decision.
- Haddix and Miller were strong down low in the first half. I couldn't tell if the Griffs D changed to take them out of the game a bit, or if they ran out of gas (or both).
- Tommy showed some energy and great play in spurts. I really like the way his game is progressing.
- Williams got into the action much more tonight. Hopefully he will continue to build on his confidence.

-Overall, this was a game Siena could easily have won with a little better execution down the stretch. It would have been great to take the sweep on the Western trip, but I thank my wife for the cold mini-vacation regardless (she's a trooper!). Hopefully the Saints will get back to Albany and defend the Pepsi vs. the Stags on Monday.

Let's Go Saints!
