Subject: Random Ramblings from an ugly win

Was at the game as usual for home games, here's some random ramblings

Iona's new players impressed

Haddix seemed to play less than half the game, yet score 1/3 of our teams points

Jordan seemed to play a great game and be in most of the time, yet didn't get a whole lot of touches to score more.

Jackson is back in good graces. Handled the ball well. Didn't try to do too much. Saw some snazzy passes.

Williams does have OK hands, he just has to be more alert that he can get the ball anytime

Miller needs to figure out how to get the ball in from two feet

What the heck was with the over the backboard shot that was taken away from Antoine Jordan

Notice I haven't mentioned Prosper yet?

Ladies game was horrible

Arrived when the score was 13-4 Siena up. Ladies played bad since then on. Saints strategy: take ball down court miss a three, Manhattan rebound, get a two. Siena take ball down court miss another three, Manhattan rebound, get a two. See a pattern? Didn't change throughout the whole game.

Looks like Lione turned an ankle, but was able to come back in.

Gunta played through the second half limping after diving for a ball

Ok, back to the Men

Maceo is much better when not playing point, he had some nice moves

Where were the Rally Nuns???

What was with the blurry camera?

No Gopher the win either tonight... Not that I miss him

Why do we always get that pudgy ref. I can't stand him

Got the DEAD signs early, then someone was handing them out and explainging it. Didn't seam like an enthusiastic crowd though

Prosper gets his first real mention in this post: I'll start with a positive - He had a nice block. Other than that, he forced way too many shots.

Haddix has basketball in the blood. He's just that good.

Was it just me or did the team not play much like a TEAM for most of the game? Just got that feel

The fuzzy red and green hair guys danced all night long. They didn't seem to get tired at all. Nice big brick sign seemed to work a little on Iona. I hate the fact that they used thatt same sign against us when we played Xavier with Lionel Chalmers

There was a Scott Knapp, Jim Cantemessa, Andy Cavo, Micah Ogburn sighting. Didn't see them clap once for Siena, but they were there.

Buhrman suits up to play, I was hoping he'd come in just for inspiration with 4 minutes left.

At this point with the team, I may go with BIG SAINT G and have Antoine start over Austin. But I think Jamal should come back as the point guard starter. Leave Tommy to 6 man.

Speaking of Tommy Mitchell, he didn't really have a bad game, but his performance doesn't really bring any memories to mind other than getting trapped in the corner

Brent I haven't mentioned yet. Had a couple of good moves inside. Just overshadowed by the Haddix monster.

I pick Lione for MAAC player of the year this year womens. That is if Siena doesn't play and lose games like this again.

Changing subjects often, I guess that's what I meant when I said I'd be rambling

Niagara and Canisius next out in Buffalo. I hate the Buffalo trip. I hate the Buffalo trip. Thank goodness there's only one trip this year.

Finally, yes finally: I swear I was going to pick Siena over Iona by 10 points tonight. Dammit too busy at work today. Gonna have to put in another week's worth of picks so I don't miss any more.
