I also watched the MAAC tournament in it's fullest last year and marveled at the St. Pete's PG etc. Fact is, womens hoops is probably more team oriented than men's. I simply am not attracted to it for a few reasons and those enjoying the sport will have a great time.

HOWEVER:

I have no proof but, there is a rumor circulating the Pepsi regarding a person connected with the women's program supposedly stating,"they are tired of being the opening act in the doubleheader." "Let the men open for a change."

Well, this may have fed into the crowd response a bit last nite. Clearly, if the comments are true then, someone has forgotten just who the main attraction really is. And while it would be politically correct to invert the starting times, it would probably also be PC to member women at Augusta.

I am not attempting to give opinion here and really thought twice about the post but then, it's been a topic of discussion on and off for a while at 1/2 time anyway and has caused some stir.

Revealing names is just not necessary.
