Attitudes will never change so long as we think "changing attitudes" will come just by talking about it. It won't. Understand fully how attitudes actually change in a society, then you know the mechanisms that have to be put in place in order for society to change. If you talk to people that they have to change their attitudes, then nothing will change and everything may look pretty hopeless after awhile. Since our leaders are elected by you and I, maybe it's our attitudes that need to change first! As in most democracies elected leaders don't lead as much as they follow the will of the people. That's means following you and I.
