The rich can more easily afford to send their kids to good schools. Those kids are more likely to have a better education. They are then more likely to get good jobs or enter business, and increase their wealth. So the rich get richer and the poor stay the same or worse, with unequal access to quality education a reinforcer. We have an educated elite and the elite is growing more distanced every day from the bulk of our population.
