Subject: DISCRIMINATION IN PNG INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS!

Some years ago, there was talk of Asians (particularly Indians and Sri Lankans) not accepted too willingly to teach in our International Schools (POM high for example). The reason it seems was that the schools wanted to encourage a certain kind of accent, the Australian accent in these schools. I wonder whether that practice is still going on today.

Is an Ozzie accent smarter ... when Yankies say it's a strange one and Pomies joke about them? What is an international school if it is only Australian in a different country?
