Blue Chip in Michigan City, IN(owned by Boyd Gaming) briefly banned smoking everywhere inside, only to reverse doing that sometime early this year and now allows smoking again. Weirdly, I don't think Four Winds(in New Buffalo, MI, and they have 2 other Michigan locations plus one in South Bend, IN) has gone back to allowing smoking, and like certain other casinos still is imposing a complete ban inside. Hopefully that is reversed, at some point.

Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, IN never totally banned smoking inside, but I remember reading for its COVID protocols briefly banned smoking by all table games, but not slot machine areas. I'm not sure if that table game smoking ban has been dropped, by now.

Some other good casino news for NW Indiana: the new Hard Rock Casino in 'Northern Indiana'(or actually Gary, IN), allows smoking inside. And thankfully I don't think Ameristar in East Chicago ever imposed a total smoking ban, at least if a pdf on No Smoke dot org for casino smoking bans is correct.
