Subject: I'm on my Indian casino trip

I drove up to the isolated town in far Northern Washington State (Near the Canadian border) that has an Indian casino that allows smoking. Yes I crave indoor sightings so much that I will travel to the ends of the earth to get them.

This county (Okanogan) has an incredibly high female smoking rate. 29% according to the BRFSS. This is not only over 3X the state average it is 4 points higher than #1 Kentucky. The large Native American % here most certainly is a reason for this.

My question coming in is would I notice this crazy high female smoking rate outside of the casino? Or would it be too sparsely populated to see anybody. The county only has 41k people and this city, the largest in the county, only has like 6,000 people. To my big surprise the answer is yes I absolutely notice!

I am staying at a discount hotel. The clerk is a very pretty and young woman. She looks around 18. She might even be younger if they allow minors to run hotel front desks. She is a white girl who is thin and has brown hair. She was wearing a rather skimpy (and cute) summer outfit. To my surprise right after checking me in she sat down outside and was smoking a long white cigarette, yes a 100 for sure. To my surprise yet again I went outside maybe 10 minutes later and she walked out to smoke another cigarette! I asked her some questions about the town as she smoked.

My impression is a lot of people staying at this hotel live here. I think I am in the minority that is here on vacation. A young (late teens/early 20s) fat white girl was smoking a cigarette outside her room as she was singing along loudly to a hip hop song. Downstairs I saw another woman smoking outside her room, this lady was middle aged maybe late 40s/early 50s. Now I notice at all times there seems to be different women smoking outside their rooms. I also see women smoking outside different shops and in parking lots. The BRFSS shows an unusually high female smoking gap here and I see it. To my surprise, it's not just Native women but plenty of white girls smoke here too.

I got to the casino rather late but was able to enjoy some sightings. It was a medium sized casino and had plenty of people in it for a late Sunday night. Looking around I could see people smoking and could smell it just a little as they had a high tech air filtration system. It was a decidedly middle aged crowd buy not elderly...not at the late time I was there.

My favorite sighting was an attractive bleach blonde Native (or Hispanic, there is a surprisingly large Hispanic % here) smoking while playing the slots. I have nothing interesting to say about her smoking but she was the most attractive woman in the building.
The second best sighting was a middle aged (50?) lady who put on a show dangling her long all white. She dangled super sexy like she was aware of how sexy it looked with her non-smoking husband. She was still attractive but too old to rank #1 for my tastes.

Several obviously Native American women were smoking, pretty much every machine it seemed. Most were older thought and not especially attractive. Then I saw a pretty Native chick in pink with a strong girl next door vibe. She looked around 40, maybe younger and looked like a nice person.. there she was waving around her cigarette like all the oter Native women.

Well see what tomorrow brings.
