What I noticed in Montana is that age 21 seems to be the cutoff. Anyone under 21 is more likely to vape than smoke (but not by the margin you have seen in the Upper Midwest). By the mid 20s and older cigarettes dominate over vaping.

I realize many of the young vapers have no interest in smoking but I wonder if accessibility is an issue. Is it easier for those under 21 to get vapes than smokes?
