Hi, Chris,
In our church mothers have own club and meet on Saturday usually. They discuss everything about children (mom told me so) and if any from children deserves special punishment it will be done after Sunday service in church. Then pastor make usual notices for our congregation and among them which families will go down in basement. All know what it means.
Usually, each Sunday, on average 2-3 boys (girls get very rarely) are punished. It's room in basement with wooden bench. Punisher is wife of pastor always. when families is in room (all together) guilty children ought to stand in line, each boy ought to tell reason for punishment, then on the bench, take off trousers and underpants till knee and get by belt numbers of age. Then boy ought to tell thanks for all and kiss belt. Then stand up, pull up underpants and next boy goes on bench. It isn't so painful - mom and father of my friend spank stronger - but very embarrassing
