If I remember correctly, I tried to beg for a longer curfew (I always had to be home for dinner back then) and insisted again and again until Dad lost his patience. After the punishment, I wasn't allowed to go out anymore anyway.

Feel free to add any comments: When my husband proposed to me, he made it clear that he would be the absolute head of the household, and that this would apply not only to the children, but also to me. After some consideration, I agreed and have never regretted this decision. Well, at least never for more than an hour at a time.
