Hana: L, thanks for your response. It does seem you taking your own panties down to be spanked is a sign of responsibility for your actions. How/why did you ask for that privilege? How did your mom answer?
Louise: When I was 11, I asked my mom if we could talk about how I was disciplined. I knew that it would be futile to ask her not to spank me so I asked if we could discuss how I was to be spanked. She explained that embarrassment was part of the punishment. I told her that my cousin Emma said that a big girl takes down her own panties. “Please, let me take my spanking like a big girl.” She smiled and readily agreed except for offenses of disrespect.
Hana: I got my last spanking at 14 but I felt like I might still be spanked until I turned 16. Luckily I was a responsible young lady.
Louise: I had a tendency to daydream and so I wasn’t always so responsible
Hana: Mom wasn’t overly strict but she had certain rules enforced over her lap, no BACKTALK no missing curfew were two.
Louise: My parents were very strict. My parents most often “corrected” me by spanking. Depending on the “offense” they would use hand, hairbrush or strap. Depending on the method, the number of strokes would vary. Mom administered most of the spankings though when I got the strap it was usually from my father. I believe that the number of smacks was somewhat predetermined but not necessarily held to. Mom was more prone to draw out a spanking so while five to ten minutes across her lap was fairly typical, the actual number of swats, even by hand, rarely exceeded forty.
I was what you would call a good girl. If my parents only spanked me for disobedience, I wouldn’t have done too badly. But, they saw spanking as a way to modify all kinds of behavior including performance of chores and performance in school. If I got in trouble in school, no matter how minor the infraction, I would be spanked at home. My teachers soon found out that the mere threat of sending me home with a note brought about my instant compliance. Understandably there were not many such incidents. Report card time, however, was a different story. My parents demanded ‘A’s. If I brought home more than one “curved letter” grade, it would be evidence of “laziness” and I’d get a spanking. I will confess that it motivated me to achieve excellence.
I was spanked either on my bare bottom or over my panties. If bare, it was always Mom and always in private. Thank heaven for small things. However, there were fewer compunctions about pulling up my skirt in the presence of other close family, including my brother. He got his beatings from Dad but they were always private affairs.

Louise: it certainly was a way for your mother to assert her absolute authority Were you ever spanked in front of others? Who? Did you have siblings?
Hana: Also, when I asked about a girl “asking” for her spanking I didn’t mean she would bring up the idea to her mother. I meant the girl would apologize for wrong doing then agree/admit she deserved the spanking her mother had decided on.
I never had to do exactly that but a few times mom would ask “and what’s the punishment for missing curfew?” And I had to reply, “A spanking.” or such.
