When my cousin Jeremy was 12 I witnessed him submit to an over the knee bare bottom hand spanking from the family babysitter in front of his sister, a female cousin, a family friend who was also a girl, and that family friend's mother. The 3 girls who witnessed the punishment were all just a year or two younger than Jeremy and were staring with wide eyes and big smiles when Jeremy, blushing beet red, was ordered to take off his swim suit. His face had turned red the moment he was sentenced to this humiliation and stayed that way up to this point. With tears already in his eyes he took off the trunks, giving the girls a quick look between his legs before quickly going over the knee wearing only his rash guard.

As someone who never got spanked in front of girls so close to my own age, I felt unspeakably bad for him, and I noticed that the spanking made him cry in a different way than a kid typically would from pain. It didn't take too many smacks to bring the tears, but it was obvious to see they were the result of massive embarrassment. It started off as a whimper, and quickly graduated into a cathartic wailing which was so pathetic and empathy-inducing that I will never forget it. You could see on their faces even the girls felt bad for him by the end of it.
