I was spanked over my pants with my dad's hand, I don't have a lot of memory about the sting, maybe because the jeans provided so much padding vs getting spanked on my underwear or bare bottom. Me and my sisters were spanked on our bare bottoms and my parents used their hand. I’m not sure how to describe stinging but it really stung. Both parents spanked slowly with time between smacks so after like 10 or 12 smacks it felt I guess like a lot of bee stings on my cheeks. Maybe my attitude and behavior changed for a time but then I was back across my Mom’s lap… When my spanking ended I was helped back on my feet and my little hands went right back to my little bottom for some rubbing and crying. Maybe its like a mix of paddle/belt. Made of wood like a paddle only lighter, but also has the range/lengtg of a belt and can we swung hard and fast. Being hit stung bad at first and the sting gave way to a deep burning pain. Each whack seemed to re-ignite the sting just as burning was starting to lessen.
