Subject: SCSI LC 120-MB Super Disk Drive

I've found what might be my ideal of removiable drives at http://www.alancomputech.com/floopydrive.html. It's suppose to be a scsi super disk. I emailed the company and they replied next day that it would work for macintosh. I specifically asked if it would work in a performa 575. It's also on sale for $69.00.

I've spent a lot of time trying to find such a thing and would like to have some input from you guys about any problems I might encounter before ordering.

For those not familiar with the super disk it replaces the floppy drive with one that can put 120 MB on a super disk floppy and works with the old 1.44 floppy also. I don't think it's as fast as a zip drive but then the zip drive can't read floppys either. Being that I have only one bay in my cc mystic I concider this unit to be much better than a floppy only mystic which I want to keep external units as few or none as possible.

Well...

What do you guys think?
