Sorry that I was not really active last couple weeks (and not much Taco progress either) - I've been really busy at work (even on weekends).

I'm using the same sort of LCD controller as Stuart - with VGA input. So I will definitely attach it to LB monitor connector (with some sort of splitter initially to provide connector for external monitor - later ATI card possibly will be added).

I must warn you though that not every personality (A/V) card has internal video connector. There was special edition of this card for AIO G3s. For more information see my comments on that matter somewhere earlier in this forum.

As Stuart mentioned before I'm using different LB placement in CC to preserve my MO drive (which replaced my floppy but is exactly of the same size). I also want to add DVD-ROM - so I need front panel to be accessible. My LB will go neraly vertical alongside of left CC's side (looking from the front). All connectors will be on the backside of CC. All PCI slots and personality cards will be available.

The problem with this LB placement is that it needs custom frame to support all that construction. And being CC bigot - I don't want to screw anything to the sides of CC - to make it look as much original as possible. So I'm building frame that attached to the bottom (most solid part) of CC. And it takes some time. So far I built the part holding DVD-ROM, MO drive, 2 HDDs and ATX PSU (used some scavenged parts from PC frames). Now I need to make LB-supporting frame and all will be done. But because of my LB placement - nearly vertical - it's not that simple. I'm looking for another suitable PC cases to get some ideas of hoe that could be achieved in easiest way.

Sorry for the delay - I know how everybody eager to see some actual results of new CC upgrade.

Alex
