I use iCab on all my Macs instead of IE now. I only use IE when I can't do *anything* with the site in iCab, or it's so non-compliant that I *have* to use IE. (ESPN is a great example of the latter, whereas the American Law Journal is an example of the former, IIRC.)

iCab uses about 12MB RAM, 16 at the most if you have lots of plugins (that's what it's assigned on my G3) and 6MB of disk space at the worst. Compare that to about 24MB and 10MB for IE 5.

Turn off multiple connections on a 68K; it makes iCab far more stable. It isn't particularly unstable anyway, but there's a bug in the 68K versions with multiple connections that makes it crash quite often.
