Just FYI, I tried running OS 8.0 which is what I was running with the 6300 board in its original home (Power Mac). I've got an 8.0 CD and an 8.x CD (I think).

Also, I tried adjusting the screen every way I could (using the page by Eric Neuman) but the image still has a wicked distortion. I'm not sure of the difference between "barrel" and "pincushion", but it's bad. Should I try a hardware mod like the capacitor Stuart's page mentions?
