Subject: CC: How to test Power Source? (CC won't start...cont)

Hi,
my CC won't start!
I verified that the problem is not related with the Logic Board.
I suspect : ) the problem is about the Power Source.
Somebody Know some "Key point" I could check with a digital multimeter to find for
a probable damage?
(for a detailed description of the problem, please see below)

--------
I tried without the Pram battery but the cc won't start.
I tried to change the Pram battery but the cc won't start.
Inside there are no visible sign of any breakdown.
In details: when i try to start the CC, by pressing the power button on the keyboard (with the back button set to 'ON' :-) ) the keyboard's led flash for 1 microsecond, the fan cooler start for 1 microsecond, the screen fizzle (as during normal start) for 1 microsecond but remaining black.........then the CC die!
If i try to press again the power button on the keyboard, nothing happens!
if i switch off the back power button, wait for 3 second, then switch on it again and finally press again the power button on the keyboard, the same things described above (led flashes.....).

Thanks!

Giacomo
