Start at 'Mystic Options' on my site: http://homepages.tesco.net/~macaddict/CompendM.html

In summary, 7.1 works fine at 512 x 384 with version 1.1 of the 065 enabler.

7.5 needs either one of the 640x480 mods, or the logic-board mod. It's detailed on that page.

Beware that those surface mount resistors are troublesome little b*****s, and love floating around on a sea of solder. Very very fine pincers or tweezers, together with a good light and possibly a magnifying glass, are recommended.

Beware of trying to remove a resistor before the solder is truly molten - you risk damaging the PCB track to the pad where the R is mounted.

Get it right, it's a two-minute job. Get it wrong. . . . . .

Happy Christmas,

Stuart.
