The reason the mod did not work for me. After I did the mod the computer booted up the screen come on after about 15 seconds. The screen was wide at the top, narrow in the middle then wide at the bottom. So I tried adjusting the screen, that did not help to much. Rebooted, on the 4th reboot when I found a system disk. The computer booted but the screen was blank. I could tell the computer was working but not the screen. I looked over the mod, it looked ok to me. So to make sure I did not blow the a/b I tried to undo the mod to check. This is where I am now.

I then did the resedit mod so that I could continue on installing HD and sttuff.

I tested pins 8 with 9 to make sure no connection. Also pins 25 with 20 for no connection. they did not have any. So the isolation I believe was correct. So It must have been the soldering part.

Then When I started to read more about the mod. Some one said to solder another part, i do not know what at this time, to fix the screen for the wide at top narrow in middle, wide at bottom. Since I did not do the mod correct the first time, I am not trying any time soon.

So If I could get it back the way it was that is fine for me.

I am going to try.

1. Doing more adjusting first.

2. Take the board to a friend who does better soldering then me.
