Subject: Found some speakers! Really!

I finally sat down and did some more homework on the speaker situation for Mystic stereo upgrades. (Takky stereo upgrades require the use of two stock speakers, since there's no room in the front of the chassis for speakers once the wiring harness is moved.)

I took apart one of the stock CC speakers, and lo and behold, it's a 16-ohm speaker! Guess what? The LC/LC II/LC III/etc series also used 16-ohm speakers. Not only that, but they're the perfect size to fit in the front of the chassis, one on each side, just in front of the wiring harness. There's just enough room for them if you cut out a hole slightly smaller than the speaker itself.

I've got them installed in one of my CCs now, but I still don't have the necessary parts to do another stereo modification (need non-polarised surface-mount caps), so testing will have to wait.

Just thought you'd all like to know :)
