The NAD doesn't have any more room on it. It's already as stripped as it can be and there simply isn't enough free space for an enabler :(
The 630 board will run Mac OS 8.1 just fine.
The 6400 Disk Tools failure puzzles me. That, of all things, should have the necessary enabler on it. Check to make sure it does, and see if it really is a valid Mac disk. I'm curious to know where you got the 6400 Disk Tools image online, too, as you mentioned Adobe in your first post but I didn't think Adobe had Mac Disk Tools images on their FTP site...
