The CS Ethernet card I was using was also Apple-branded. I have no idea what other brands have <40mm height, and if there is variance within these brands from model to model.

Anyone out there running a Comm Slot - not CS II - card that is NOT Apple-branded and is less than 40mm tall (i.e. it fits without chassis mods)? Jeff H., I know you have a buncha 575s around...any chance you could check that out for me?
