Subject: Performa 275 Analog board thoughts...

Well, I just recieved a CC of that I bought off of Ebay (broken tube), and wouldn't you know it, I have another P275 analog board! That makes 3 of 4, all out of regular CC's. Anyway, I was looking over the Takky faq and I found a section talking about the Performa 275 analog board, and it say that after you cut line 20, you should connect it to P6 (+5 volts on the power edge connector), with a 4700 Ohm resistor. I have not seen this mentioned in any of the threads here. Has anyone tried it? Also, I was looking at Stuart's website and he mentions soldering another wire between 2 pins on the board, close to the edge connector. I have NEVER seen this mentioned anywhere else. Does anyone know which version of the board this is for and what it does?
