Subject: 575 Analog board question

The 5xx analog boards are nearly identical to 275 analog boards, except they are wider, already have the 13" (or vga?) screen setting, and are stereo.

So has anyone ever tried to cut down a 5xx AB to fit in a CC?

I took a quick look at one of my 5xx analog boards, it didn't seem to have anything on the extra inch or so of board added to each side of the components populating the board.

Good idea? Bad idea?

(I'm trying to think of anything that'll keep me from having to solder again)

Al
