Subject: Mystery lead: help required

Sorry to revive an old query, but I never got a definitive answer to this one before, and I'd really like to be certain about this before I switch my CC on again:

Does anyone know where the black and white lead that comes out of the video card on the end of the tube is supposed to go? I *don't* mean the one with a white plastic connector on the end, that one is fine. This one has a pink connector on the end, but is currently unconnected to anything. I know Chris said he thought it was a ground, but if it is, I still don't know where its supposed to go to.

Next time anyone opens up a CC, any chance of checking where this lead connects to? I've just bought some VRAM (to give me 16-bit colour) that I'm looking forward to trying out, but I don't wanna fry my CC from not having the thing properly grounded...

Regards,
Ian
