 Marty Supreme is an upcoming film due for release on Christmas Day. It is loosely based on the life of colorful American table tennis star Marty Reisman, who rose to prominence in the sport in the 1950s.

There is a scene in the film where Marty is paddled bare butt by a business mogul who offered to financially back him. The Hollywood Reporter describes it as a punishment, but I wonder if it is more him asserting his dominance over Marty rather than discipline.

Timothee Chalamet who plays Marty is 29 but not sure how old the character is.
