Sorry you got spanked. I think if you tried your hardest and did your best work, then you should not have been spanked this time.

Yes, a C- is a low grade, but calc is hard and it is still early in the school year, but if your parents have that policy, then I can understand why you were spanked. Just try and do your better on your next quiz or test.
