 I saw this video maybe a couple of weeks go on X (formerly Twitter). The video wasn't censored - curse words not beeped out or the boy's face blurred.

The mother is disciplining in anger. She should have waited to calm down. I'm sure the boy would be severely punished if he used the language she was using. Picking him up by his hair was not appropriate.

I didn't think the actual belting was unreasonable but I get some members may disagree. If you take out the cursing and lifting him up by his hair I think the belting was fairly reasonable for a 12 year old boy. He was ready to bend over the couch and stayed in position during the belting suggesting this not an uncommon practice.

I would get a similar number of licks at the same force if not harder on my bare butt. Although I would be slightly older than the boy.
