 Lucas, I think it's OK for Elijah to talk about when one of his brothers got a spanking and wants to share his thoughts about it. I don't see a problem with that. But he should at least also talk about it when HE got spanked. To make a long story short.
Elijah and Gabriel got a spanking on Sunday after church because they got into mischief with their cousin Benjamin. Of course, Benjamin also got a spanking from his Dad. They were roughhousing and disobedient, so they needed to be punished.
