The fact that I am still alive and able to write this is proof that so far I have managed not to do so, but it's a near thing. > > >My driving instructor claims that I can fail my >driving test for "not making sufficient progress", >which is literally NOT GOING FAST ENOUGH lol. Say what? Going too slow!? Oh, my. I would love to get you behind the wheel of our car with my mom in the back seat and see how she handles that! Especially on a freeway where the minimum speed limit is 45 (traffic permitting) in the slow (right most) lane and the posted limit in the fast (left most) lane. You can get a ticket for going too slow just like for going too fast. Going too slow is just as dangerous as going too fast because you engender road rage in the drivers you are blocking behind you and they then do dangerous maneuvers like tailgating (driving too close to you) or passing and cutting in front of you with insufficient clearance. Truly we live in different cultures! [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
