Dear Joakim, you are almost certainly right. The other members of the forum apparently agree with you, too, since nobody wrote. In any case, it appears that David's dad saw the light, for whatever reason, and relented, reserving the second spanking only for those who got one earlier in the week for cause. I still think that two spankings for the same offence is one too many, but at least they will not be given just for the heck of it. Now it's up to David to not earn one during the week, something he needs to work on, apparently.
