Hi Grant, welcome. I too got the belt. I first got the belt when I was 8. Mum normally smacked me with the wooden spoon. When I started high school Dad took over disciplining me. I last got the belt when I was 19.

Police officer and the birch

4 19 year old from Glasgow received 9 strokes each. 3 of the young men were photographed showing their marks for a newspaper
