When I was a kid I wore purple dress socks. When I went into senior school it was a school rule boys had to wear dress socks with their school uniform. My twin brother Josh and me had a big argument with mum about it when she bought school shirts for us, she bought dress socks as well, we both told her we wouldn’t wear them and we both got smacked hard when we wouldn’t back down. She made a deal with us we could wear white sports socks at the weekend and when were on holiday as long as we wore dress socks for school.
