My stepdad admits this is quite funny cos he works in some place that supposedly they have to let the door close after they walk in. (Or something like that?) Anyway it's a heavy door and it automatically slams shut, as he describes it. This heavy door is in some delicate building, where if you slam a door then it makes a SMASH sound through the rooms on either side where people are working. And my stepdad always jokes with me that he tries really hard to close the auto-closing door *really gently* but usually it just massively slams shut anyway. Then he walks off thinking "oops". And also thinking "I must mention this to Lucas later". Stepdad's rules for me are that if I slam a door and I'm being disrespectful then it's a trip to the garage and he wears out my bare bottom with his belt. Plus potentially I get my mouth soaped afterwards. So stepdad finds it amusing that these two different places have totally different rules/outcomes of a door slamming shut.
