Geeze, Matt, you've had a bad week! This seems to me to be too harsh for a simple fight, or is there more to it you're not telling us? It's too bad that corporal punishment is no longer allowed in schools forcing them to go nuclear and suspend pupils instead. This has always struck me as rewarding bad behavior by giving the student a week's vacation, but not if the student's dad does what yours did. Your dad has left himself with no way to upgrade the punishment if you do something really bad, like get arrested. Or maybe not. Please don't find out the hard way!

Best of luck with the rest of your suspension. Hang in there!
