Yup, it was! It hurt loads and I cried hard.

Oh, I don't know. No more so than most dads here. Your dad spanks you when you get in trouble, doesn't he? I don't get spanked for every little thing. But when I do do something bad like this time I sure do get my bare butt blistered. I get it hard, but remember that I'm 17 and 17 year olds need to get it lots harder than a kid your age for it to have the same effect.

Ah, Elijah, that's just something parents say. I don't have a schedule - "Spank Jerry once a month and if he goes longer than that between spankings, give him one right now just to keep up the average". No, it's not like that at all. What my dad meant was that I had not been getting spankings as often as I did a couple of years ago and maybe I had forgotten what they felt like (no flippin' way!) or gotten it into my head that I wouldn't get one even if I mouthed off like that. So I needed a booster shot. Still, at 17 I don't need it as often as you do at 11. Are you still getting a spanking about every week? Your parents are more strict than mine in that case. My dad thought I was "due" because I wasn't getting them as often as in the past. Neither he nor I know when I'm "due" in advance. I'm due when I disobey.

If I was I would have known that mouthing off, especially for no flippin' reason, was too stupid for words and was like saying to my dad, "I want a spanking. Go get the paddle. I'll pull my pants down and you can really make it hurt!" 'Cause that's what it amounted to. That's super dumb, not smart.
