Sorry that you got the strap. My Dad use to use a very thick leather belt. Similar to I lay over my bed with a pillow under my waist.

I was never on a swim team but we did swimming in school from primary school to 2nd year of high school. Swimming was only during the summer terms and usually only one day a week. I think I was lucky that no one saw my marked butt when we changed. We never showered after p.e so it was a quick change. In high school we had to wear fitted swim trunks - jammers were probably worn by the majority of boys. I wore Suare cut trunks like tiny boxerbriefs. My Mum did put me in swim briefs when I was little - at 6 or 7 I was one of few boys at the pool wearing them. Also wore briefs up until high school when most boys wore boxerbriefs
