I'm 14 and an only child like you. I get the belt over the foot of my bed with pants and undies pulled down so I know how that feels. When I get sent to my room, I have no idea how long before dad will come. It's always just my dad and I, mom never watches.
My school has no pool but we are required to take showers so everybody sees the welts and bruises but nobody ever comments on them.
Welcome to the forum, we have a nice group of kids and some parents too.
