As I see in my imagination Ms Marge's family world, these spankings are a fundamental part of their peace and love -- togegher with all their mutual kisses and hugs. My position is that if we have some ideas how to improve a family world, then these ideas should not include the item "Let's change the basic rule" because to destroy anything is much easier than to create it and the existing basic rule must be already more or less acceptable for all the participants whereas the rule we offer may be unacceptable for some or even all participants. That's why I prefer to advise how to correct a current situation rather than to change it radically.
