In meiner Familie war das jetzt nicht unbedingt so, dass mein Vater in allem das letzte Wort hatte, sondern meine Eltern haben schon gemeinsam die Regeln aufgestellt und uns gemeinsam erzogen.
Aber es gab immer eine klare Hierarchie, dass unsere Eltern die Verantwortung tragen und das letzte Wort haben. Wir hatten zu gehorchen und Widerspruch war gar nicht gerne gesehen. Im Gegenteil, das konnte auch ganz schön schmerzhaft enden.
Natürlich hab ich mir auch als Kind und Jugendlicher manchmal gewünscht, meine Eltern wären nicht so streng, zum Beispiel wenn ich irgendetwas nicht durfte, was Mitschüler durften oder natürlich wenn es mal wieder den Hintern voll gegeben hat. Aber im Großen und Ganzen hatte die strenge Erziehung sicher mehr Vor- als Nachteile und inzwischen bedauere ich regelrecht, dass es in Deutschland so außer Mode gekommen ist. In vielen anderen Ländern steht man da ja noch ganz anders zu.
