Virility and Potency - What Do These Concepts Mean?
The concepts virility and potency both describe male sexual capabilities. Virility is a wider concept than potency, and the properties of potency are contained within the concept virility.
No man will however fully have all the properties of virility and potency listed below. Supermen do not exist. Some men will have more of some properties, others will have more of others, and still can get considered as virile or potent.
THE CHARACTERISTICS OF A VIRILE MAN
A virile man has the following capabilities in addition to those contained within the more narrow concept of potency:
- He has a great sexual appetite. He feels the crave for sex both mentally and physically. The urge for sex is centered in his pelvic area, but is also radiating out into his whole body.
- A virile man will get easily aroused when seeing human sexual attributes or by other sensual stimuli that remind him of sexual situations. Of course his sexual orientation and taste will define what kind of partner will stimulate him, but he does not have such a narrow orientation or taste that no human with visible sexual attributes will ever arouse him..
- A virile man has a great physical capacity to engage in sex and endure a long sexual act, without getting physically exhausted, mentally tired or mentally bored by the sexual act.
- A virile man is sensitive to the emotional and physical reactions of his partner and the wishes of his partner. But he is also sensitive to his own needs, and he is able to negotiate in a good way between the urges of his partner and his own wishes.
- A man of great virility is also sexually creative. He always knows how to handle himself and his partner so that both get the most stimulation and enjoyment at every moment.
- A virile man can work vigorously during the whole act. But he also has the intelligence and sensitivity not to exaggerate his actions, but adjust them to the degree that is felt best both for himself and his partner.

WHAT CHARACTERIZES A POTENT MAN?
The concept potency describes mostly the physical abilities of the penis and the rest of the male genital equipment. The properties of potency are a subset of the wider concept of virility and those properties are as follows:
- A potent man has a great ability to get an erection at the right moment, and also to get an engorgement in the area between his legs. This engorgement makes the erection stable and stimulates the feelings in the pelvic zone.
- The penis of a potent man will grow large during erections, and the erections will be hard and stable. There is however one modification of this prerequisite. Many potent men have a penis well filled with blood nearly all the time so that the penis always looks ample. If this is the case, the penis will not need to grow much more to get a full erection.
- A man of great potency will also be able to maintain the erection a long time, actually as long as he wants himself.
- A potent man has the ability to ejaculate vigorously with vigorous contractions in the muscles between his legs, so that the semen is pumped out with a great pressure. A potent man also has orgasms that last a long time, and his intimate muscle apparatus will pump a long time during his orgasms.
- Included in the concept of potency is also an ample production of semen and the ability to produce semen of good texture.
- A potent man is also fertile. His semen contains a great concentration of sperm cells. His sperm cells are vital and has a great ability to fertilize the egg cells of his partner.
